Subtracting Business Days from Date

Good morning,

I am trying to create a new column that subtract business days from a date in order to create a new date. Essentially. I want to take the original delivery date and subtract the number of business days found in the transit time and create a new date. This has me stumped and any help would be greatly appreciated. Below is what i am looking for.

delivery date - transit time business days = new date.

Hi @czjames87,

Here is one way to do it. You can adjust the origin date if it comes to the weekend.

I hope this helps. See the workflow attached. Best!

Hello,

This works if I have a short transit time, as 5 days. But what if I have a 10 day transit time? For example, initial date is oct 10 of 2022 (Monday) and I want to substract 10 days of week days, I need Alteryx to give me 26 of September 2022 (Monday), so it skips all weekends. With this proposal it will give me back 30 September 2022 (Friday).

Do you have an Idea on how I can accomplish this?

Thank you!
