We are receiving an SSL Connect Error from the download tool in Alteryx. This error only is present when running the workflow on Citrix VPN.
We have several workflows that work just fine with VPN turned Off but fail when the VPN is turned on.
Even very basic Web calls fail with the same error message if the VPN is turned on. For example, calling out to return the content of this webpage fails when connected to the VPN: https://icanhazdadjoke.com/. The same workflow works just fine otherwise. So I'm ruling out issues with the input parameters as the inputs work just fine with VPN off.
My research indicates that the issue might be caused by VPN inspecting the certificate and returning a certificate issued from the VPN instead of the original certificate, is there a way to turn off certificate verification in the download tool so that Alteryx doesn't error when the non matching certificate is returned?
It is worth mention that the same API call can be made in Postman while connected to VPN without any SSL connection errors being returned.
Are there any other potential explanations I'm overlooking here?
