Hi all,
I am looking to change the way my data is structured. Can someone help me by directing me to an appropriate thread or helping with the below, please? Thank you,
I currently have a file that looks like this:
Location | Month | Retail Revenue | Wholesale Revenue | Retail Costs | Wholesale Costs |
Peru | Jan | 100.5 | 480.9 | 50.6 | 120.9 |
Argentina | Jan | 350.7 | 560.2 | 93.3 | 170.6 |
Guatemala | Jan | 209.2 | 300.2 | 25.0 | 66.9 |
Peru | Feb | 120.5 | 667.6 | 69.5 | 10.1 |
Argentina | Feb | 400.6 | 524.4 | 45.8 | 51.5 |
Guatemala | Feb | 201.3 | 369.2 | 70.6 | 98.1 |
Peru | Mar | 99.5 | 350.2 | 10.5 | 68.8 |
Argentina | Mar | 360.4 | 295.0 | 78.6 | 77.9 |
Guatemala | Mar | 300.2 | 452.3 | 12.1 | 25.6 |
I would like to rearrange it to the structure below, so that I can then create an output with 4 different tabs (one for each product) that displays the amounts by month by location. I don't need assistance with the output creation, just the rearranging of the data. Thank you.
Location | Product | Jan | Feb | Mar |
Peru | Retail Revenue | |||
Peru | Wholesale Revenue
Peru | Retail Costs | |||
Peru | Wholesale Costs | |||
Argentina | Retail Revenue
Argentina | Wholesale Revenue
Argentina | Retail Costs
Argentina | Wholesale Costs
Guatemala | Retail Revenue
Guatemala | Wholesale Revenue
Guatemala | Retail Costs
Guatemala | Wholesale Costs |
Thanks for the help,
Irene
