Reading from a database

I am new to Alteryx. I will have to read and extract a few tables directly from the database. Please let me know which tools will help me to achieve the task.

A regular Input Data tool will list all databases Alteryx can read under "Data Sources":  Input Data Tool (alteryx.com)

No problem. Each database will have its own drivers / configurations that should be documented in the Help documentation.
