Publish to Tableau Server

Hi,

I downloaded the tool (this morning) from the Gallery, installed it, and am trying to get it working using a very simple workflow (text input with 5 records straight to the Tableau tool)

I am running Alteryx 2018.1.4.44311 & Tableau Online

The Workflow appears to finish running successfully, but the data source does not appear in Tableau Online.

Any ideas? Do I need another tool after the Tableau tool?

How long does it take for the data source to appear in Tableau Online - seconds?

i realize this is a bit old, but it seems to me that you were attempting to create a data source, while you have "Refresh Project Name List" checked

This retrieves the current project names from the server and populates the dropdown, when you execute the workflow

However, it deliberately blocks any publishing of data.

Run it once to refresh the names, if needed ..

then select the one you want,

then uncheck that "Refresh..." box and run the workflow again.
