Hi Alteryx Community,

I would like to check on how to convert Pivot function to Alteryx -

Scenario: I have as set of data which consists of "Reference and Value" both have debit and credit amount. My filter in pivot is - filter by reference and value >0. To summarize, my output should showing only "Debit amount for each reference number".

Hi! Assuming your data is columnar in nature, would the attached skeleton of a solution work in your case?

The formula tool converts negative values into '0' and then the CrossTab structures it into a Pivot format. Let us know if this isn't what you are looking for.

Hi @AbhilashR

Thank you for your reply but the "credit amount" should not be showing on final output.

In pivot function - i separate the credit and debit into two pivot based on reference.

Hi @quims, you could introduce a filter tool to remove all the negative values. I have re-attached an updated version of my solution if it helps.
