PDF Input tool not working

I am trying to use this tool from the gallery: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Public-Community-Gallery/PDF-Input/ta-p/887038 to convert PDF files to Excel but I keep getting the following error messages when I run the flow: 

PDF Input (2) BatchPDFInput (26): Record #1: Tool #2: Error in poppler_pdf_text(loadfile(pdf), opw, upw) :
PDF Input (2) BatchPDFInput (26): Record #1: Tool #2: Execution halted
PDF Input (2) BatchPDFInput (26): Record #1: Tool #2: The R.exe exit code (1) indicated an error.

Anyone know what is causing the issue? I have used this tool in the past with no problem. My Alteryx Designer version is 2021.4.1.04899

The issue has been resolved, it was due to the PDFs containing passwords and just had to remove the security.
