Output to a specific range in excel corrupts the file

I am aware that this issue is been discussed a lot on the Community, however I cannot find a solution that works for me.

My target is to write to an .xlsx file (with multiple sheets) in a specific range and overwrite previous data.

Please see below: (I also tried to deselect the skip field name box)

When I run the workflow locally (on my pc) it runs successfully. When I go to open the file I receive the following message but the file is not corrupted.

However, when I run the same workflow on the server, the file is corrupted and all data disappears.
Please note my current Alteryx version is 2019.3.5.17947
Thanks!

This is a very irritating bug. An unsatisfactory work around might be to output to another sheet that's hidden and have cells reference that sheet in the workbook.
