New Starter - Data conversion for V_string to date

Hi All,

I have date in format dd-mmm-yy and accepted by Alteryx as V-string, tried several ways to convert it to date and results all come back with Null. Datetime tool and DateTimeParse neither worked.

By any chance I can get some help here?  I've attached the date file.

@SherryShen  you just need to use the Datetime tool for this conversion

Hi @SherryShen,

It can be converted to date format using Date time tool with custom option and input date format as:

dd-Mon-yyyy, but the output date format would be YYYY-MM-DD. If you are looking to convert string "dd-Mon-yyyy" to date "dd-Mon-yyyy" then that would throw you the error.
