How to set a character limit?

I am trying to abbreviate everything in a specific column of my data (e.g. Make New Jersey say NJ and New York, NY). How do I set a character limit to 2 letters so everything shows up abbreviated?

Hi @bryce-ciccarelli1 

You can set size in select tool.

You can abbreviate using the below formula. And also set column size to 2 for the new column.
