HIVE After connection made takes long time to load schema and columns blank issue

steps to reproduce problem as below

1. In input tool, click on create connection, select data source, select hive odbc connection, create connection using odbc driver(Cloudera)

2. After clicking Ok, it will take long time to appear Choose Query or Table Builder window

3. From Visual Table Builder pick table and schema and click ok

4. Now pull Select tool to see columns it will be blank or empty

Also, most of the time alteryx designer remains in not responding state when working with hive data why is it so?

Can you try enabling the "FastSQLPrepare" option within the driver to allow Alteryx to retrieve metadata without running a query.
