Get values between two numbers using formula

Hi, I am trying to use below formula but it doesn't work.

1. tonumber(if [Dep Ledger Bal] <= 100000 then [Dep Ledger Bal] else '0'
endif)

2. tonumber(if [Dep Ledger Bal] >= 100000 <= 250000 then [Dep Ledger Bal] else '0'
endif)

3. tonumber(if [Dep Ledger Bal] < 250000 then [Dep Ledger Bal] else '0'
endif)

Basically, I want to get values between 100,000 and 250,000 from column named Dep Ledger balance. I am able to get values in 1st and 3rd formula but unable to get for 2nd one. Can someone please help?
