Hi All,

Is there a way I can Open multiple input files all at once, such that after (example) sanitizing/formulating it, can give output to multiple tabs in the same output file?

I have attached the two Sources from where I want to get the output in two tabs of the Main Template.

If anyone can please help me to understand how is that done, it would be great! :)

@db89

I have seen the similar kind of input and output sometime back (few days ago) in the community.

Couldn't locate the solution for you.

Can you please explain in detail, how the input and expected output.

Will help you to resolve.

Many thanks

Hi,

You can use the Output data tool to output one single Excel workbook with multiple tabs. You will just have to select the file as an XLSX file type in the Output Data Tool, then type out what the sheet name is. You can do this for multiple inputs as well to create many tabs. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi @ShankerV,

No worries but appreciate for the reply!

For example, from the multiple inputs (Source and Source 2 files) I want to paste in Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 tabs of the 'Main Template' file.

The objective is to just get the result from multiple input files stored in a single folder and getting the output in multiple tabs of the prescribed template.

Hi @damalraj22,

Yes that I have tried, but my objective is to just get the result from multiple input files stored in a single folder and getting the output in multiple tabs (with only one output tool) of the prescribed template.

Hi db89,

Got it sorry about the confusion. Seems like you will need to create a macro or use the union tool to do this. Also to read all the files in one tool you can use the Dynamic Input tool as well. Take a look at this community page below and let me know if this helps.
