Generic odbc option does not work

Hi

i am trying the desktop trial. I want to use generic odbc connection but when i click odbc , odbc dialog box is not shown ( oledb option works)

how can i sokve this?

What do you mean by "doesn't work"? Can you provide an example of the error? Can you show your ODBC config? Have you created the ODBC connection?

Hi Castor , 

I am adding an input data , and  then click setup connection , then choosing generic  odbc (  attached the  screen1.png below)  

Here  i have 2 options  , ODBC  | OLEDB .  I am choosing  ODBC  ( screen2.png)  .  In this screen i can not create or choose  my existing  odbc sources (  odbc  control  panel is not  opened)  .  If i click create new it  routes me to the  data sources ( odbc  is not in that  list) I have  already  configured odbc sources (  odbc.png)  )

I'd recommend downgrading Alteryx to 2022.1 (or at most 2022.3) and trying again. I'd also recommend using an IN-DB connection.

Hi Pollux ,  I am using trail  version ,  can i  download  a relase other than  the  trial?

( Itried the release  page  but it asks me  licence key)

1/ the trial version is the complete version. Trial does just mean you didn't activate any licence key. The trial duration is 30 days.

2/which Alteryx release do you use ?
