When I try to change the settings in a match style, they are not being saved. For example, when I try to edit below for Name w/ Nicknames
...and change the Match Threshold default from 85% to 60%, I hit "OK" to save it, and get the message "Do you want to save the changes", which I then hit "Yes"
However, when I open the edit settings again for Name w/ Nicknames, the Threshold is back at the default 85%. Any ideas on why my changes wouldn't be saved?

Have you tried running Designer as an Administrator?
In 2023.1, I get this message if I do NOT run Designer as an Administrator and attempt to save settings within Fuzzy Match:

@acarter881, Yes I have, thank you. I haven't seen that error message pop up, so it lets me go through the save process when I'm prompted to save the changes, but it's not actually saving the changes and it resorts back to default.
