Error creating report with hyperlink

Hi community, I have been struggling with this issue and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. 

 The objective is simple, send a mail with a text that has a hyperlink.

Step 1)

 I put a manual input with a filed called URL.

Step 2)

I add a Report text tool and I add a hyperlink with text and the address is the URL field.

After I put accept the text filed shows:

Step 3

I use a browse tool and tho I see the word “PressHere” as hyperlink if I click it URL doesn’t open.

I see some things that are weird:

First if I click in the text box in no point it refers to the www.google.com url I put in.

And second if I click again on the Report text tool and then click on the canvas the content automatically changes to:

I have no idea where what Im doing wrong… this should be simple but I cant figure out… help! :D

which version of Alteryx are you running? Can you turn of AMP?

The version is 2023.2.1.7 and turn off AMP and didnt work either :(
