Hi,
Building on @Atabarezz 's idea for easy to find resources, what are your favorite places to grab data for environmental related analyses?

The European Environment Agency provides really granular data on air quality across Europe on their website: http://aidef.apps.eea.europa.eu
There are a whole host of other interesting environmental datasets on their website: https://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps
I love this resource, and often use data from it when training on basic predictive analytics.

Tons of information on the ocean off Central and Northern California
I recently found out about Global Fishing Watch and have been meaning to check out the massive amounts of free data they make available:

This is a really interesting write up about how they are using big data and data science to tackle the environmental impact of illegal fishing using ship location data.

Thanks for the mention, great job going on here.
Here I give you a great resource from NASA.
This web application allows you to search, discover, visualize, refine, and access NASA Earth Observation data.
