The email tool works perfectly for internal emails but only works for external emails if I don't attach anything or if I untick the 'Use field' for Body.
I'm using Report Text to create an Email Body field and attaching a file from my computer.
When I test with both of those fields or either of them, it says emails sent but I don't receive anything. Have tried with multiple external emails.
Otherwise works exactly as intended for internal email addresses.
Does your email with attachment work if you only uncheck ‘use field’ for body?
if no then, this could be due to your organisation policy which prevents sharing of documents via email. Check with your IT team.

No, even if I try without anything attached but still tick the use field for body of the email, it doesn't work. Only works if both of those are unticked or I use free text in the body field instead of a field.
