I am creating an automated email report that is sending a unique Excel file to each recipient, many of whom are international and therefore have different numeric formatting standards. I have found the tools available to be really challenging to format the final file, in particular numbers. I am looking to send in the Excel file Purchase Order numbers that tend to look like 123456789 or 12345700. If I use a text/string, the last zero will get cut off. But if I use a numeric data type, then commas are added. Does anyone know of a way to use Alteryx to send numbers to Excel that does not alter it? I have thus far tried every data type and email configuration (in the reporting tools) with no success...
Can you upload a generic module that demonstrates the issue?
