Dynamic replace with spreadsheet?

Greetings:

I have a data file ALL_MSA.csv with a list of cities in the NAME field.  Some of the names are incorrect.  So, I have another spreadsheet called Fix.xlsx that contains two fields.  One field contains the incorrect names as they appear in the ALL_MSA.csv, and the other field contains the correct names.  I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to run first identify the incorrect names in the ALL_MSA.csv and replace with the corrected names is the Fix.xlsx file.

Thanks!

Brian

This would be easily accomplished with a Join then a Union, but your list of IncorrectNames doesn't match the Name column from ALL_MSA.csv.  Regardless, this is the general logic.

Ahh, makes sense. Still trying to get these figured out. I think I can get
it figured out from here.

@pcatterson is correct that Join and Union can be used.

I would also suggest looking at the Find Replace tool (in the Join Toolbox)...silly example included.
