start date 6 months past and 3 years in the future for the day the report is run how to achieve this i am new for Alteryx Any one help me

I'm not sure to understand the need. Do you need to filter your data based on the period you mentioned?

Date range for report is supposed to be event start date 6 months in past and 3 years in the future for the day the report in run.
