Comparing 2 spreadsheets with same column headers

Hi,

I'm trying to compare two spreadsheets to determine and collate entries where fields have changed for e.g 'Status' has changed from pending to settled, if theres any new entries or dropouts, or if the value has changed. This is a monthly exported spreadsheet process which shows everything in there to date for each claim and is rolled over monthly which is where i have trouble analysing whats happened in that month.

I wasnt sure how best to analyse this but i was thinking maybe multiple spreadsheets in the same file that show the differences.

Any ideas would be really appreciated!

Thanks

Joe

Re: Comparing 2 spreadsheets with same column headers

Here's a start - I would look at combining the data together with a Label created, Transpose the metrics you want to compare, and Crosstab the metric back but on the new label. If there's a different level of comparison, you can change around the Transpose/Crosstab configurations.

Good luck!
