Change sequence of columns in final output

I am new to Alteryx, so would request if someone can help me understand the tool/ process through which I can change sequence/ order of excel columns I have in my data set.

Hi @shivama429 ,

You can change the sequence of columns in your dataset via the select tool. You can find examples of how to use the tool if you click on it and then select "Open Example".

You can rearrange the sequence of the fields by selecting on a field from the configuration window and then using the two arrows at the top.

In my example, I have selected the "Date" field. If I click the up arrow, that will place the Date field before the "identifier" field so first in my dataset; if I press the down arrow, the "Date" field will follow the "identifier" and "Total" fields, so it would be 3rd.
