Boolean Search w/in App/Conditional Formatting (text that contains)/TextBox Tool

I am building an app where I want the user to be able to Boolean Search a field of data, and have it return all the records containing any or all (OR or AND) of the words in the Boolean search. 

Currently, I am using the Text Box Tool interface on a Filter tool, but am not certain how to configure either. 

There's a fun treat in the workflow, for anyone curious to take a look.
