Assigning jobs based on a weekly crew capacity macro?

Hello experts,

I have 2 datasets -

The backlog of jobs, the hours for each job, and the week all material will be ready to work:

RecordIDJob NumberHoursReady Week
1771685611202407
2771685612202407
3771369340202409
4771644219202410
5771462462202410
67714624174202410
77715866205202410
87715867153202410
9771113920202410
10771113930202411

And a weekly crew capacity:

Scheduling WeekCapacity (hours)
202405500
202406500
202407500
202408500
202409500
202410500
202411500

With consideration of the Ready Week, I am looking to assign these jobs and adjust capacity, and update the 2 original tables like this:

RecordIDJob NumberHoursReady WeekScheduled Week
1771685611202407202407
2771685612202407202407
3771369340202409202409
4771644219202410202410
5771462462202410202410
67714624174202410202410
77715866205202410202410
87715867153202410202411
9771113920202410202410
10771113930202411202411

On record 8, you can see the job was too large for the remaining capacity and scheduled for the next week, while the smaller job on row 9 was able to fit into the remaining week 10 capacity.

Scheduling WeekCapacity (hours)Adjusted Capacity
202405500500
202406500500
202407500477
202408500500
202409500460
20241050020
202411500317

Any help or direction on this is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Thank you for the reference. This would seem to work when not considering the "Ready Week". Trying to understand how to build that condition in.

I just had to add in the Ready Week logic to the multi-row tool and got my desired result!

Thanks!

@chadosu
Thank you for the feedback and glad to know it is resolved.

Is it possible that you post the final version adapting it to your problem?

Here is the workflow.

A couple of notes on the input data - I have included the weekly capacity (500 hours) as well as the week I want the scheduling to start (Sched Start Week).
