Alteryx Engine vs AMP: Block until done error generating multiple tabs in same excel sheet

After upgrading a workflow to AMP, I received an error when generating two tabs in the same file shown below

The documentation says to place the BUD tool in the branch with the lowest numbered Input tool ID.  How do you determine that?

I couldn't figure out which one had the lowest tool ID so tested with deleting either BUD tool and it runs with no issues.  on further research of the topic I discovered how to properly nest multiple BUD tools

I have since adjusted each tab to be created from the different branches of a single BUD tool, previously I put one BUD tool immediately before each output tool that generated a tab.

Hi @someotherguy ,

Thank you for this feedback. We have had other questions about Block Until Done and writing multiple sheets to the same file, so we are considering adding a future enhancement to our roadmap that will make this easier.

To identify the Input Tool with the lowest ID,  you can either click on the Input tool and view it in the configuration pane or hover over the tool and it will show the tool ID.

Also, thank you for reading the documentation on AMP differences and finding that.

I only have one input tool for the entire workflow so that's what caused my confusion.

Ah, did you figure it out? The BUD needs to be associated to each thread going to the output:

yes that solved my issue.  When I first started researching how to generate two tabs in the same file I think I ended up on this thread

And implemented something like this, but didn't realize it was discussing multiple inputs
