Need To Know
This month the Community team delivered a new logged-out landing page that highlights some of our most popular Community programs. We’ve also added a link to Mission Control on the top-level navigation so you can easily access the case portal, knowledge base, and preference center.
The Community and User Group event calendars got an upgrade as well! We enhanced the UX by standardizing functionality like time zones, meeting formatting, and calendar views. Be sure to check them out when you’ve got a moment – there are lots of exciting new events coming up!
Top Solved Discussions
Our discussion boards offer the opportunity to not only get your questions answered, but to learn from each other and help other users advance in their understanding of Alteryx. This month, we had some great examples of the power of our discussion boards & collaboration:
- Date Time Format with REGEX: Check out this discussion on reformatting multiple date columns in the most efficient way. Both @OllieClarke and @DataNath demonstrated how to use the multi-field formula tool for this, and then @DataNath went on to answer follow-up questions to provide additional support and get the solution!
- Simple transpose, how is it done?: This discussion is a great example of how there are always multiple ways to solve a problem, and answering questions can open the door to further learning. @jbichachi003 gave kudos to @alexnajm for their elegant solution. @CoG demonstrated how their custom macro could solve this problem as well (with a video!). Great work all around.
