Great challenge! My first pass at Task 1 used multiple tools, but I went back and managed to consolidate all the heavy lifting into a single Formula tool.

Inside the tool, I used:

One RegEx_Replace formula to clean, parse, and reformat the code.

IIF statement with a second RegEx_Replace  to create the suffix flag (1/0).

A basic IF statement to compare the new and old code fields.

Like others on this thread, my final calculations didn't quite align with the official challenge output, but this was a fantastic way to brush up on my RegEx skills.

Side note: Regex101.com was an absolute lifesaver for testing and debugging my expressions!
