Good challenge. Would have been better if the energy use of other industries was included for comparison. For example, more energy is consumed by the creation, hosting, and viewing of internet **bleep** than by the Bitcoin network. You can imagine how many countless other modern frivolities actually consume more energy than the Bitcoin network. Interestingly, it is only Bitcoin's energy consumption that is discussed in the media. Make of that what you will...
