Got the working days with Alteryx way itself. Invested more than couple of hours to derive the formula to get Networkdays like in excel, with no luck. Here's my solution.

My way was different. Recognizing that the first pay period always had a 14 day difference I set up a formula to give it 10 or 11 working days depending on if it was a weekday or not.

 

The second part was trickier as you could have either 12, 13(LeapYear), 14 or 15 days difference between the start and the end. I made a text input that contained all the combinations (28) and the workdays between the two. Took me about 5-10 minutes to type that up and reason through each option, so not the most efficient but only had to be done once.
