Got stuck halfway through this one...

...because I completely forgot about the Spatial options in the Summarize tool.  I made a basic star outline easily enough using Polybuild (sequence polygon), but had to go through several other Spatial tools before I found a solution.

Well, I certainly went the long way around, constructing the "inner" points geometrically -- but it got the job done.
