Solved it the two ways which make most sense to me.
The constraints in rows is less intuitive I find

I can Not believe it 🙄 as it took me over an hour to figure that I need to switch the toggle on the tools 'maximise optimization'.  That's a downside of learning a new tool

Solved! Like @martinson , my Red Roses and White Daisies are switched. The total price is $949.05 which meets the condition pretty well (vs $949.90 with the Red Roses), so I'm thinking my Alteryx was just more of a fan of the daisies :)
