So I took this one step further and created an app and macro so a user to select the months they want to include/exclude. So if you select April-August, you will get the same final output, but this will be more dynamic in adding new dates. It was a challenge to get it to work!

Love the macro challenges. Nothing was being output from the macro and I was going crazy. Turns out I just had to update Alteryx and then the bug was fixed! (Extra notes in spoiler!)

The language for the opened and close was misleading and confusing. I changed the % calc to be 1 - the active accounts to create a more accurate number for retention.
