The main challenge was understanding what one is meant to calculate. Confusingly, we seem to calculate some sort of attrition (not retention) rate in this exercise.

I managed to make the macro quite concise:

Had to get some inspo on getting the date filters right but here's my solution..

I thought this was an easy batch macro, but my answer didn't match.  Had to look at solution to understand the formula.  My take was sum all accounts opened within the last 24 months of month in question.  Sum all accounts closed in the current month in question. Divide closed by open to get percent. I still think that matches what was written - but changed to match answer 🙂
