From my prospective, Tableau prep has more elegent solution to this quiz.

1) Tableau prep support rank function, similar to SQL syntax, very easy to use and understand. In Alteryx, we need to need sort + multi-row formula, which is too complecated.

2) Tableau prep support pivot, you could handle multi columns at same time.Meanwhile, in Alteryx, only one column at one time.
