Getting started on a Mac

Dear all, 

 
I just wanted to get started just to learn that the download is a .exe file which obviously is NOT supported my iOS. 
 
I’m surprised to have this rather user unfriendly approach to "share it with my virtual machine” prior to going to the “help” menu. Seriously?! This all feels a bit 1990s... I’m sure there is a better way to do that.
 
Please advise. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you.
