R0:"In epidemiology, the basic reproduction number (sometimes called basic reproductive ratio, or incorrectly basic reproductive rate, and denoted R0, pronounced R nought or R zero) of an infection can be thought of as the expected number of cases directly generated by one case in a population where all individuals are susceptible to infection."
Hey @NMajoul, welcome to the Community! This is such a fascinating area to explore. You might like to check out some of the R packages developed more recently by the R Epidemics Consortium, which include a couple of packages related to the estimation of some of these epidemic parameters like the R0. You can use these packages in conjunction with an R Tool in Designer to do some experimentation. Here's a cheat sheet for the R Tool you might find helpful.
