Hi, fellow DFW Maveryx!  Save the date for our upcoming July Alteryx User Group virtual meeting, which will be Friday, July 25th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. CT.  We are excited to feature speakers from the Austin Independent School District, showcasing the many ways they are using Alteryx!

In only 6 months, the Austin ISD Data Analytics and Reporting Team has transformed many of their manual processes into Alteryx workflows that run with just the click of a button!  Luis Martinez, Director of Analytics, and many of his team members will feature various workflows that deliver deeper insights into metrics that enhance education and improve student outcomes.  For example, workflows utilizing the reporting toolset generate charts that can be shared with others - while keeping the interactive chart features by outputting to an html format.  Support tickets are analyzed using the Sentiment Analysis options within the Intelligence Suite add-on toolset, allowing quick understanding of whether the requests have a negative, neutral, or positive sentiment.

The Austin ISD has improved data quality, streamlined reporting, and integrated multiple data sources in this short amount of time, reducing turnaround time from 14 to 6 business days!  Alteryx has helped the Data Analytics and Reporting team better support staff and students, uncover trends, and enhance decision-making across the district, as well as build a sustainable data culture that delivers measurable impacts.
