Hi, Dallas Alteryx User Group Members! Just an update to the Signup Info for Alteryx For Good; please note that the deadline to sign up is this Friday, March 31st!
Thanks to each of you who have sent in your vote and recommendations for non-profit organizations! So far, we have votes for the following 2 non-profits:
The Commit! Partnership http://commit2dallas.org/ -- Currently The Commit! Partnership has an AFG license; they just need Alteryx users to assist!
The Retina Foundation of the Southwest http://retinafoundation.org/
As mentioned in the previous post, if you can volunteer for just one hour, a few hours, or a couple of days, no amount of time is too small. Even just one person volunteering for one organization is a huge help! In addition, if you don't have time to volunteer in person, please consider joining our "Volunteer Board" where you are available to answer Alteryx questions and provide support and expertise via email, phone, etc. to our onsite volunteers.
To volunteer to assist these organizations with implementing and utilizing Alteryx, please reply to this post, or email me at dsanchez@axisgroup.com by this Friday, March 31st.
We volunteers will then group our talents together and volunteer on site for the organizations during AFG week, April 23-29, 2017.
Again, if you can only volunteer for a couple of hours, that is still a huge help to these organizations! Even one hour for one day (possibly a lunch hour?) will help. If interested, let us know your schedule and when you are free to volunteer during the week of April 23rd. Once signups are complete, we will send scheduling and additional information for the onsite visits.
Just as important, for those who cannot volunteer in person, please let us know if you can be available by email or phone, as a resource to provide Alteryx expertise to our onsite volunteers.
Most of you already know the amazing impacts Alteryx can have in providing self-service analytics; the time savings alone can greatly benefit a company, allowing them to use their time wisely for analytic insight, and not for manually copying and pasting data.
Consider what an impact you can make if you help a non-profit organization use their time to benefit many more recipients, instead of grappling with their data?
Thanks to each of you for sharing your knowledge and experience; together we can turn "days into hours, hours into minutes" for the organizations' data blending and analytics, giving them back those days and hours to help so many others!
