IMG_9487.JPGThe old saying, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” gets thrown out the window when it comes to Inspire 2017 because the conference is officially underway, and we’re excited to share the highlights! Day 1 kicked off with product training, unveiling of the Solution Center, Community Hub, and Hall of Analytics, and last but certainly not least, AnalytIcon.

Product Training

Throughout event registration, we saw great demand for product training covering everything from the basics to advanced predictive analytics. Today, we held the first of many training courses, and based on the chatter in the Aria hallways, they were very well received! For a full view of product training classes throughout Inspire, please see the Inspire 2017 Agenda.

Solution Center, Community Hub, and Hall of Analytics

In addition to formally kicking off the much sought after product trainings, the Solution Center, Community Hub, and Hall of Analytics officially opened for business today. The Solution Center was abuzz with attendees in search of advice and best practices to continue building their analytic skills. And as the one-stop-shop for all things related to the Alteryx Community, Alteryx for Good, and Alteryx User Groups, the Community Hub was just as popular. Attendees learned about the many ways to get involved with the greater Alteryx Community, about volunteer opportunities with Alteryx For Good, and how to connect with local User Groups. Of course, it was not all business, as the Hub is also hosting a caricature artist, the Icons of Alteryx Community card game and Plinko…yup, the same Plinko you used to catch on "The Price is Right" when you were home sick, playing hooky from school! The Hall of Analytics – our sponsor expo hall - was not one to be outdone, either. Our amazing conference sponsors had an abundance of attendees stopping by booths to learn how to further their analytics with the help of our partner ecosystem. The Solution Center, Community Hub, and Hall of Analytics will be open at various times throughout the conference, so please be sure to drop by if you missed the fun today.

AnalytIcon – Icons Unite

IMG_9485.JPGWhile the morning and afternoon of Day 1 may have been focused on reinforcing attendees’ knowledge of the Alteryx platform, the evening was entirely focused on networking and collaborating with new and former colleagues at “AnalytIcon — Icons Unite.” During our welcome reception sponsored by Data Robot, attendees could be heard sharing tales of how they are leading the analytics charge at their organizations, and it wouldn’t be an Inspire in Vegas without banter regarding building workflows to better one’s chances at the tables! Best of all? The fun took places as many attendees donned their favorite Icon or superhero paraphernalia and costumes.

Follow the Thrills!

Day 1 of Inspire 2017 may have come and gone, but the real fun is just getting started. Day 2 brings our opening keynote with Chairman and CEO Dean Stoecker, UX sneak peaks, numerous breakout sessions featuring both customers and Alteryx SMEs, the Alteryx Grand Prix, and you can bet it’ll be another night of fun at Power Play, our Day 2 celebration sponsored by Teknion. Be sure to follow the thrills in your social channels with #alteryx17.
