It's an exciting week, as we kick off the first round of the 2017 Alteryx Grand Prix, which will take place at Inspire 2017 in Las Vegas! Individual user groups from North America have formed teams of 3, selecting 1 driver to compete per category: Favorites Categories (data preparation and data blending), Spatial, and Predictive. In this qualifying round, drivers, or contestants, will have 30 minutes to solve as many workflows as possible in their chosen category. Each workflow is worth a point value based on its level of difficulty and time needed to complete. At the end, judges will tally the combined point total for the 3 drivers of each User Group and the 3 User Groups with the most points will advance to the final round in lucky Las Vegas.
We are looking forward to a re-tuned Grand Prix, which will allow more users to participate and highlight individual core competencies. We feel this year's Grand Prix will fully embody the spirit of what we are building with our Alteryx community.
Ten User Groups will be competing for one of the final 3 spots. A warm welcome to the User Groups and individual competitors, who are:
