Last week we announced that economist, journalist and broadcaster, Tim Harford, will be the conference keynote speaker at our inaugural Inspire Europe 2016, taking place on 13 - 14 September in London. Tim, the author of the million copy selling book "The Undercover Economist", a senior columnist at the Financial Times and the presenter of Radio 4’s "More or Less", has spoken at TED, PopTech and the Sydney Opera House. He is a fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford and was Economic Commentator of the Year 2014.
Tim will be delivering his keynote at 1pm on Wednesday, 14 September entitled, 'Statistics: Why the Truth of Numbers Matters', focusing on why analysts and data users must lead the defense behind the value of numbers and data in public discourse.
