It was another packed week for the EMEA Alteryx team: to maintain the high from the successful launch of Alteryx Denmark, we followed up with two packed events in London and Manchester, on 4 and 8 March respectively.

Here is a brief recap for the ones who couldn’t be there to celebrate  Analytic Independence.

Analytic Independence, LondonLondon:

  • Bloomberg entertained 130 analytics experts in their auditorium, who had an opportunity to learn a bit more about, or discover for the first time, Alteryx. Christopher Lowe, Global TMT Specialist at Bloomberg, was impressed by how Alteryx improves the management of data, either directly from the company, or via customers indirectly. According to Christopher, "Alteryx is afrontrunner in a corporate world waving goodbye to their use of Excel and moving towards managing any data sources via a single, easy to use platform”. "Alteryx is about creating a platform to answer business questions from your business", said Paul Ross, Alteryx VP of International and Partner Marketing, and co-host of the event in London.
  • We heard first hand from Jayson Robinson, Product Manager – Analytics, Insight, API at Revoo, and Nik Stoychev, Safety Data Analyst, Operations Risk at easyJet, how Alteryx transformed their lives – and the lives of their analytics teams, enabling them to gain deeper business insights in a few hours as opposed to weeks.

Analytic Independence, Manchester Manchester:

  • Our valued partner Perfect Image and I co-hosted a busy morning event at Hotel Football, overlooking Old Trafford, the house of legendary football team Manchester United.
  • Over 30 prospects and customers joined us for some classic English breakfast and builder’s brew (note to the non-British readers: this is very strong black tea served with a dash of milk) to hear from Andy Smith, Director at Perfect Image, on what Analytic Independence means to the life of an analyst.
  • Phil Budden, Operation Analyst at Vista Retail Support, delivered an insightful keynote outlining the multiple use cases where Alteryx transformed how he and his team prepare, blend and analyse their data.
  • Chris McEleavey, Head of Presales Consulting at Perfect Image, hosted an interactive live demo with plenty of questions from the audience, followed by some more networking over lunch.

Stay tuned for more news about our European events to discover when Analytic Independence will be coming near you. And if in the meantime you are curious to see for yourself how the Alteryx platform delivers analytics for the people, download our free trial now!
