Inspire 2015 is in full swing this week in Boston. Users are enthused, training sessions are packed and sponsor area is milling with attendees interested in new capabilities and ideas. To top it all, day 1 of the Business Leader track ended with a bang. With fantastic line up of speakers from KPMG, VOYA Financial Services, Experian, Audi, GameStop, Cineplex, and Brunswick learnings were many.

If you couldn't join us, you will have to wait till after the event is over for all the slides and the session uploads, but below is a brief snapshot of what you missed.

1. An expertly-led discussion by Experian Marketing Services' Christine Frohlich with George DeVarennes of Voya Financial on how to engage today's hyper-connected customers and build loyalty. Particularly insightful was George's reveal on how Voya is using predictive analytics and strategic segmentation techniques to improve messaging and match customer segments to product selections.

2. An insightful session by Aaron Cohen and Alex Khvan of Audi of America on how the luxury car maker is using data to become a premium brand in U.S. You can see some of the details on how Aaron and Alex used Alteryx to overcome data chaos...

...and make decisions based on factors beyond just sales reports.

3. A presentation and Alteryx/Tableau demonstration by Katherine Goff and Brett Hermann of Cineplex, Canada's leading entertainment company and an operator of world-class motion picture theaters on how they use spatial analytics and data visualization to identify opportunity for additional premium screens, target movie-goers in an area and minimize cannibalization by other nearby theaters.

4. An engaging session with Jason Kappel, Director of CRM for GameStop, wherein Jason shared how by building efficiencies in the process, providing self-serve ability to decision-makers and reducing dependence on IT, his small team is now able to more effectively understand GameStop's most profitable customers – their Power-up Reward members. The result: reduced time to insight from a half-day to under an hour, ability to target shared customers among company's different business units more efficiently, and more effective product pairing based on multi-factor product correlations for successful promotions.

This was not all!

Speakers from KPMG and Brunswick shared their strategies for success and steps from taking an idea from concept to execution and building analytical culture.

So am I excited about tomorrow's sessions on Business Leader track? You bet!

Don't miss out. We have another impressive line-up of cross-industry speakers from Wells Fargo, Levi's, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, The Information Lab, and CROSSMARK.

I look forward to seeing you.
