System vs. User Connections

My Team is currently trying to use the server, but to do so, we need to change our in database connections from Server to User.  We would like to keep both the server and user connections, but it seems that some of the system connections do not connect.  Is this a naming issue?  Is there something we can do to combat this?  See pictures.

*Correction: We need to change our in database connections from User to System.  Sorry for the confusion.
