Server API Maximum Payload Limit?

Any documentation on what the payload limit is for alteryx server? I'm trying to determine if it's better to send 15-1000 rows, 120+ columns as JSON/XML/b64 to the POST v1/workflows/{appId}/jobs endpoint, or just send a filepath to the endpoint which the server would go to, and read the txt/csv/xlsx file that way.

Don't know about the actual limit but in my experience its almost always more efficient to set the filepath.
