SMTP setup through Gallery or workflow event

Hi All,

Since we can configure email either within workflow event or with the Alteryx gallery setting, what is the difference?

If I configure both, will the workflow event being override by the gallery setting if I run the workflow in gallery.

Hi @bertal34 , 

I hope your internal IT team restricts the permission to perform the telnet operation.

The problem will solve if you enable communication between your machine to SMTP server.

Thank you for all your help.  I am working with my IT team to diagnose the issue and may even get Alteryx support involved.  Will keep you updated.
