How will Alteryx Server be impacted if we move our SQL database behind a private endpoint

We have Alteryx workflows (published in the Alteryx Server) that write to our Azure SQL database. As part of secure network changes being implemented, this database will now be moving behind a private endpoint. May I ask how this will impact the Alteryx workflow and what configurations we need to apply? Do we just need to whitelist the endpoint of the VM in Azure where the Alteryx Server is hosted?

Hi @ramza_2004 ,

 

Your server should have the SQL Server port open (you should be fine if they keep the configurations from the old server).

Whitelist Alteryx Server + the designer users who will use the connection.
