Hi all,
I've seen a few people talking about this topic, but cannot find a definitive answer or workaround so I was wondering if anyone has found a way to cancel individual workflows after a certain amount of time?
I know you can set a limit in server system settings, but for me it needs to be specific to individual workflows.
If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, they'd be most appriciated.
My specific issues is that I have a workflow being executed each morning by cmd and as part of the workflow it executes a batch file to call tabcmd. Intermittently this batch file hangs at different steps of the cmd and the workflow doesn’t fail or error, just sits there. This has also happened when I’ve ran directly in the designer interface hanging at 51% on the macro whilst trying to execute the same cmd line. I've tried looking through log files but can't seem to find anything particularly useful and think it must be to do with network connectivity (but I'm clutching at straws!)
I'm wondering if you can start an event on run to run a PS script that will kill your PID after N minutes?
