Can a server workflow be reached like an api?

Hi 

I dont even know if this makes sense, but we are looking into the server solution.
And we have many different api's today in our enviroment.

lets say a booking api - that gets data from our customer, and sends to a carrier.

Could I configure a server workflow til get the data from the customer (by api) and send it?

Yes, it is possible to create a workflow that uses API calls to get or send data.
